Gomorra di Matteo Garrone e Il Divo di Paolo Sorrentino vincono due premi importanti

Sono due registi italiani a vincere due premi importanti al 61° Festival di Cannes.

Matteo Garrone, romano, con il suo "Gomorra", tratto dal celeberrimo omonimo libro di Roberto Saviano, che si aggiudica il Grand Prix, e Paolo Sorrentino, napoletano, con "Il Divo" il film interpretato da Toni Servillo (presente anche nel cast della pellicola diretta da Garrone), su Giulio Andreotti, che si aggiudica invece il Jury Prize.

Non nascondiamo il nostro personale apprezzamento, e la nostra felicità, per questi riconoscimenti che riscattano, in un momento assai critico, un’intera città e, forse, un’intera nazione.

Tony Servillo è migliore attore italiano del momento e non solo cinematografico.

Attendo “Il Divo” con ansia e sono terrorizzato all’idea di una delusione.

Molto contenta anche io!

Speravo nella palma d’oro.. ma mi hanno detto che il Gran Prix vale moralmente di più… che la palma è più commerciale e che il premio che è andato a Matteo è il vero vincitore morale (pare che sia piaciuto molto anche a Sean Penn).

Felice per il gruppo di Gomorra, Roberto compreso… e anche i ragazzi della compagnia teatrale che aveva realizzato l’omonimo testo insieme al regista Mario Gelardi.

La cosa che mi riempie d’orgoglio è che in entrambi film c’è un casertano, un grande attore come Toni Servillo.
